Born To…

I found this chalkboard sign in a great little thrift store that I frequent. It really spoke to me and I knew exactly what to fill in on that blank line. God is the creator and sustainer of all life, and in every living thing there is purpose. Perhaps you are already actively engaged with what that purpose is for you. If not, consider the things you are most passionate about–is there a way to use those passions to serve God? Listen to what others have been telling you for years about specific gifts or attributes that you possess. What seems to come “naturally” to you? There is no greater fulfillment in life than in doing what your heart says you were created to do! Mark Twain has expressed it in this way: The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why. What is your “born to”?
